Carla "Ms Carla" Thomas

 

As a Makeup Artist for 29 years, Carla has lent her talents to commercials, print, movies, videos and much more. During this time, she worked with many celebrities including Rev. Charles Jenkins, Byron Cage, BET's Bobby Jones, Caron Wheeler of Soul to Soul and the R&B Artist Tweet. She perfected her skills working for MAC Cosmetics, L'Oreal and Luster Products just to name a few. In 2001,  she received her degree in Esthetics and in 2002 was invited to become an instructor at her alma mater where she taught until 2011 when she opened Taj Cosmetics in the South Loop. In her spare time, she conducts makeup and waxing workshops all over the Chicagoland area and mentors up and coming estheticians. She is passionate about the world of beauty and loves to see how her expertise provides an immediate boost in confidence for her clients.
